April Monthly Edition May 01 2016
The first of our Monthly Editions showcases the Hashtag Coat, Pant and Shirt, each style offered in two colour ways. The amplified version, for the brave woman, features an energetic print by designer Maria Montes. At once figurative and botanical, the print explores contemporary society’s fascination with ‘selfie’ culture and conditions of oversharing. Printed in Melbourne on a bamboo base it offers soft drape and breathability. Its subdued counter part is cut from black lightweight Italian virgin wool, and the shirt from Italian cotton poplin with a subtle check. The coat, pant and shirt all feature squared off design lines, an abstract reference to the ubiquitous hashtag.
It is sometimes possible for us to accommodate orders on previous Monthly Editions, please email us with your request.
This softly tailored long line coat is a light outer layer that can be worn all year round as coat, jacket or dress. Fully lined it offers a slim elegant silhouette, cinched at the waist with inset elastic. A rounded shoulder with square inset raglan seam molds easily to all shoulder shapes and widths, its rounded neckline sits cleanly over a shirt collar. The concealed double-ended zip offers versatility of wear, allowing this piece to be worn as a dress when fully closed. Worn hear with the Hash Tag Pant as a suit.
A straight leg cropped pant offers the look of a tailored trouser with the comfort of a pull on pant. The waist is gently elasticized and sits just above hipbones. Slimming vertical seam lines on front and back frame the hip pockets. Half lined for comfort in a luxurious lustrous micro check jacquard lining. Worn here with the Hash Tag Coat as a suit.
Worn buttoned up or relaxed, the Hash-tag Shirt easily transitions from day to night. Featuring a square set raglan sleeve and center back pleat at neck allowing for a slight trapeze shape through body, this piece is still slim enough to be worn tucked in. Cut from a fine Italian cotton poplin with a self check or printed bamboo sleeves are faced in a twill, giving a subtle contrast when worn rolled up.
Crafted from luxuriously soft cotton and silk-blend, it has a lightweight handle that's perfect for layering. Printed in Melbourne and constructed by hand it offers an easy way to work this bold print into any outfit.
